Startronics in Los Angeles specialized in all your car needs and protection
Modifying your car looks cool, but it's not all about simple aesthetics. Many customizations have more functional purposes- they can make the car run faster or smoother, for instance, or help to defend your car from any damage- if you've spent a lot of time and cash on your ride, the last thing you want is for all of that to be ruined by scratches and dings.
Smoked tail lights, for example. Smoking or tinting your tail lights covers the glass with a film, applied by sticker or sprayed on, that prevents scratches on your taillights. Just be careful about putting tints on your taillights- you may have state laws regarding how dark and opaque taillights can be, so your Smoked tail lights may not be street legal.
They're not as flashy a Smoked tail lights, but Clear bras paint protection systems are more practical. Like tinted tail lights, you have an extra layer over the surface of your car, only this time, it goes over the front, protecting areas that are exposed to dust and scratches like bumpers, sideview mirrors, and headlight covers with an almost-invisible film.
Without the clear bra, these small collisions with street debris can really add up to a lot of scrapes on your ride, which might require some costly repainting to affected areas. Clear bras are a good investment so that it never comes to this: just spend a little extra in the beginning, and then be assured that your paint job is safe.
If your car is hit hard enough (like with a larger piece of rock, while going at high speeds), it will leave a dent. This doesn't necessarily mean another trip to the car shop to have the whole panel reworked and repainted, and several days' worth of waiting.
PDR Paintless dent removal techniques can smooth it all out in a meter of hours, and, if the paint hasn't been broken, no repainting is necessary. This is why PDR also costs much less than traditional dent removal techniques- all it takes is a set of specialized tools to smooth out the dings, and a skilled, and very patient car technician.
